And So I Will Blog...

I created this blog well over six-months ago for my loyal blogger friend, LC. I have always admired her ability to not only write about her daily antics, but to make them entertaining! (I think the journalism school helps a little)

Since then, I have tried (and failed) to create anything remotely close to something I would consider posting for the public eye.

However, the longer I am away from home, my dear Manhattan, the more disconnected I feel from 24 years of familiarness.

And so, I will blog... To feel connected, and to try to connect you to my life here in Tennessee. I am a newlywed and a military wife. I am learning, for the first time, how much I took for granted the dear loved ones and friends back in Kansas, and how desperate you can become for a friendly face in an unfamiliar city! I am the owner of a pestiferous miniature pinscher, and a cat who believes she's human. I am married to a wonderful, determined man who challenges me to become a better person. I am surrounded by country music, southern charm and some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of encountering. In Clarksville you can be best friends with someone in the grocery store line.

I cannot promise anything exciting, but I look forward to sharing it with you just the same.
